Les Grottes du Loup

The formation of this grotto is the same as all the neighbouring caves (Cretaceous period). The galleries intersect a pothole covered with pretty concretions forming a lovely water conch, stalactites, stalagmites with familiar or unusual shapes. Its name is derived from legends according to which it was a den for wolves.

To get there take rue Basse, go down Boulevard de la Grotte, Boulevard Rémi Sempé then avenue Mgr Théas and take the route de la forêt. (10 minutes on foot from the Sanctuary)

Open from Easter to 15^th October from 9.00am to 7.00pm.

Guided visit in French, Spanish, Italian and English.
