Between April and October, there is significant seasonal activity at Lourdes Station as 1.2 million travellers pass through and almost 700,000 pilgrims come every year. Such numbers require the laying-on of special trains (nearly 1,100) and clockwork organisation, particularly with regards to reception where all site staff are involved.
