CA Lourdes 125 Sponsored Walk: last stages - the plan

We are half way now on raising the £1,250 in celebration of 125 years since the CA first went to Lourdes on pilgrimage. Please help if you can.

Archdiocese of Southwark: (Kent to London/various parts): Tuesday 28 July 2026

Bishop Paul is planning to join Matt on some of the journey. Earlier this month, Matt has completed some extra miles via the Shrine of Saint Jude and Herne Bay/Reculver (see photo below).

Portsmouth (CA annual coverage!): Sunday 2 August 2026

Wilma Boddeke is planning to join Matt on this part of the journey. Fordingbridge to Christchurch. All are welcome.

RC Diocese of Northampton: 8 August 2026.

Paul and Cliona Devereux plus local parishioners will be planning to join Matt on this part of the journey. From Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Church & Diocesan Shrine to Northampton Cathedral on Saturday 8 August 2026. There will also be some walking in Aylesbury (to the south of the diocese on Friday).

East Anglia (Cambridge): 9 August 2026

Matt will be starting in Sawston and walking to Cambridge after attending Mass in the village. This is the final part of the walk. All are welcome.
