CA Lourdes 125 Sponsored Walk - going well so far...

Matt started the CA Lourdes 125 sponsored walk on Friday 3 July - this time walking 16.5 miles to Stonyhurst from Preston (in Lancashire). Here are some photos. Many thanks to the brilliant Beverley - Stonyhurst Lourdes Pilgrimage - for meeting Matt on arrival and providing him with home-made sandwiches of pure perfection.

108.5 miles to go...

On Saturday 4 July and Sunday 5 July, Matt continued the CA Lourdes 125 sponsored walk. The start was slightly delayed after one of Matt's car tyres burst on the M62 - lucky a quick swap meant he could get on his way.

On this part of the walk, he strolled 9.5 miles in Clifton Diocese Diocese (in Gloucester and then in Bristol/Clifton) finishing at the Cathedral. After Mass at Clifton Cathedral, he was welcomed by Mgr. Liam Slattery and Mr and Mrs Brendan and Joanna Roche.

Thank you to Fr. Eugene (Clifton Lourdes Diocese Director) for help with the route. Thank you Mgr. Liam, Brendan and Joanna for the welcome.

Please sponsor Matt, here.

99 miles to go!

There is a bit of a gap now (for normal life to resume) but please look at: https://www.catholicassociation.co.uk/calourdes125 for the next stage.

Fellow walkers are joining Matt in Archdiocese of Southwark and RC Diocese of Northampton and Catholic Diocese of East Anglia

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE SPONSORED SO FAR.

Matthew Betts
